The Türkiye Scholarship Fresher's Guide is the official orientation manual issued by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) to structure the academic, legal, and social integration of incoming international scholars. It functions as an operational roadmap to assist undergraduate, master's, and doctoral awardees with pre-departure preparation and post-arrival settlement across Türkiye. The guide acts as an authoritative reference manual for international students, reducing administrative friction, ensuring compliance with Turkish immigration laws, and accelerating adjustment to university life in Türkiye.

You will serve as a vital link in our day-to-day operations, supporting management with routine administrative duties, data management, and daily staff and customer communications across three languages.

Applications have opened for the second term of the Turkey Graduates Academic Incentive Program 2026, which aims to encourage the academic output of academics and researchers who graduated from universities in Turkey. Within the scope of the program, foreign academics and researchers who have completed part of their education in Turkey will be provided with an incentive of up to 500 USD for their articles published in international academic journals indexed in SSCI, SCIE, ESCI, or AHCI within the last year. The incentive amount will be calculated taking into account the impact factor of the journal in which the article is published, the number of authors, and the type of index it is indexed in. Applications with a final incentive amount below 100 USD will not be paid. Turkish citizens and those who have lost their citizenship are not eligible to apply to this program. Applications will be accepted until January 1, 2027, via the website basvuru.ytb.gov.tr. Applicants must first register on the Turkish Alumni Portal.
